Frequently Asked Questions – PDF to Image

PNG is best for documents with text because it has no compression artifacts. JPEG is good for photos or when smaller file size matters. WebP balances both.

A scale of 2x or 3x is generally enough for high-quality prints. Scale 4x produces very large files and is only needed for very detailed graphics.

Currently the tool converts all pages in the PDF. To export a specific page, you can first split the PDF into single pages using the Split PDF tool.

All pages are processed, but large PDFs at high scale settings use more RAM. For very large documents, consider splitting first to keep processing stable.
